Work to the new entrance to the Cairnrobin Industrial Park are complete, creating a striking new entrance for the park.
A new drystone wall now sits along the boundary with Old Stonehaven Road. Ranging from 1m – 1.6m high the wall was painstakingly built using traditional methods by specialist drystone wallers Stoneworks, Alford. The wall is built in diminishing courses and features a vertical coursed cope.
Stoneworks also created 2 highly impressive 2m high stone cairns which sit either side of the new road access. These cairns not only tie in with the name of the site but give the new access prominence in the street and a sense of arrival.
Finishing the new walling is the new park signage. Made from 316 brushed stainless steel the signage was manufactured and fitted by Loftus Signs, Aberdeen.
WCP Architects carried out the design for the new boundary walling, cairns and signage. Cairnrobin Industrial Park is a development by Raiths Farm Properties Ltd on the Southside of Aberdeen.Back to News
